Chrissie is an award-winning journalist, writer and editor based in London.

Formerly entertainment editor at Stylist and PinkNews, she is now Group Entertainment Editor across the Women’s Lifestyle portfolio at Hearst UK, where she oversees covers and profiles for Cosmopolitan, Red and Prima.

Her profile subjects have included singer-songwriters such as Mariah Carey, John Legend and Reneé Rapp, to the actors Adam Brody, Cynthia Nixon and Kerry Washington.

Her features and opinion pieces have been published in Stylist, Cosmopolitan, Refinery29, i-D, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, CNN, The Independent and New Statesman. She is a former columnist at Vice, where she explored classic tales of mythology and folklore from a feminist perspective in her column Myth Understood. She has also collaborated with clients such as eBay, Google, M&S, NatWest and Liberty London.

Alongside her writing, she is passionate about elevating the voices of underrepresented groups. She has worked for The Kaleidoscope Trust, Arts Emergency, Break and The Maya Centre. She also volunteers for Crisis.
